This is my 2nd pair--I also have the fingerless gloves for working out at the gym. They prevent about 75% of the pain I used to get without. They are much better designed and supportive than anything else I've seen. They run small--I had to get Men's L because Women's did not go large enough. Thank goodness for ThumbAnchor!
I have arthritis in both thumbs, but I remain active and don't want surgery at this time. Since I play golf, I tried a left handed Thumb Anchor and it really helped. I then bought a right handed Thumb Anchor and used it when I bowled, it made the difference between not bowling at all or having fun with a group of friends. I recommended the Thumb Anchor to several of my golfing friends and they have been impressed with how much it relieves thumb pain as well. I'm so happy this was recommended and I believe anyone who has thumb arthritis will benfit from the support the Thumb Anchor gives.
I have golfed several times wearing this golf glove and find that it does lend support to the thumb. I plan to get the half glove to wear in the hot weather.
I’m a right handed golfer and have arthritis in my right thumb. I changed my grip to a baseball grip, tried wearing the device prescribed by my Dr, but so far this seems to be working the best! And it looks like a regular golf glove, so far so good! I haven’t putted with it yet as we have temporary greens right now. I would think taking it on and off for putting would be a PIA……stay tuned!
When I’m wearing the glove I can already notice the support it gives my thumb. Comfortable to wear. What I don’t like is the off & on. Can’t cook wearing it. (Chop vegetables hurts my hand but can’t wear the Thumb Anchor. Some cleaning I can’t wear it.
I have a doctor who swears by these product because they work!!! I have one for my right thumb and just purchased one for my left thumb also.

I am so glad my surgeon had samples in his office and was able to tell me what size to order. I have very small hands, but wear a medium large in this. I would never have expected that. It does give relief to my arthritic thumb and supports if when I am using my hand a lot. I have tried other braces without much help. I would recommend it.
I gave away the sample received at the ASHT conference to a quilter friend who reported support and decreased pain to her ortho doctor. I ordered this one for a family member for Christmas. He works with industrial electronic monitoring equipment. Interested to see if it will support thumb base with climbing a ladder and allow small tool/component use.
After playing with it for nine holes it began to heart the area on my hand below the thumb. That part of the glove is very hard and caused pain.
This glove gives me hope that I can play golf this spring. I had thumb arthroplasty 7 years ago and the thumb is giving me problems again. The glove fits well and makes me feel more secure holding a club. Excited about it.
It does not fit true to size. I usually wear a small ordered a medium and still to small.
Works awesome. I had a motorcycle accident years ago and injured my thumb which is very weak. Now I can play golf again with the glove, thanks
This glove with the support of my thumb has significantly reduced my arthritis pain in my thumb joint and made it possible for me to play tennis with reduced pain.
The glove is the best one I’ve seen. I had arthroplasty on my L basel joint earlier in the year. It’s still tender and I have some bone on bone which may not improve. However I thought the glove gave me some relief. It is very well designed and constructed, I would certainly recommend it to someone with basel joint issues. My only suggestion would be to sew in a light plastic insert that covers the basel joint and restricts thumb movement to the rear (see MetaGrip).
This glove helps with CMC so much. They do run small as the website suggests.
I ordered this glove for my grandma who loves to play golf! She has arthritis and has been reporting increased pain while golfing over the last few months. She was able to play all 18 holes with less rest breaks and no pain at the end of the game. Highly recommend both the comfort and look! Fits and looks just like a golf glove!
It fits rather tight. I do like the support at the CMC and ulnar wrist. I will show these to my patients

I want to return the glove. Medium/Large is too small and ineffective.

I really had high hopes for this glove, since my hand surgeon suggested I try it. I do believe I purchased the correct size, and it fit like my normal golf glove. However, it was more painful wearing it vs not. I tried it for 9 holes & was done. I tried it for 1 game of pickleball & same result. Painful. Tried adjusting all the straps several times, same result. Painful. It is also painful that I can’t return it. I do think it has potential, but I am disappointed.
These gloves are HORRIBLE! I suffer from a Chronic Disease that has adversely affected my nervous system and unfortunately my limbs. I push through this without PHARMACEUTICALS.
I have just begun the sport/activity of golf. I purchased both the L&R gloves on the advise of my Pro. Within 2-3 practice sessions my hands were ‘killing me’. And before you try to deflect, I have a top of the line new set of Callaway sticks. So it Ain’t that!
I will be returning the gloves. Expect a full refund; postage, etc…

Sizes are very small! I had to return it for a bigger size but have not received the new size yet.
